Had one picture left over from yesterday that I thought looked cool. We had a bike safety inspection last night, so that we could all be sure our bikes were in good enough shape to make the descent into Jackson tomorrow.
Wow! We topped the 1000 mile mark for our trip today. Another nice day of being spoiled by favorable tailwinds and high temps in the 70s.
Saw these horses watching us from the top of the hill and tried to get a decent shot of them, but they started moving down the hill when they saw us stop.
Lots of irrigation around here. Doesn't matter if it's in town or in the country, there are sprinklers spraying water everywhere.
....couldn't leave Idaho without at least one shot of a potato field....
Not everyone gets excited about all the tourists on bikes....here's Dan getting a couple of shots of the cows in the water. It's funny how you don't really think of some scenes as being a "gotta take a picture" kind of a scene, until you're on vacation. Normally I wouldn't even think to stop and take a picture of a cow cooling off in a pond, but I have a shot of this as well....
Here's Sandy stopping to take pictures of all the people stopping to take pictures of the cows.
....and of course Debbie had all the 4th of July decorations out at today's SAG stop to go along with our red, white, and blue ABB jerseys.
....just thought this was a cool view of Dan and Bill traveling down the road. Reminded me of E.T. silhouetted against the moon.
Well, that's all for today. I have a few things to do this evening before bed, and I'm hoping to walk along the falls to get a few pictures. If I get any good ones, I'll try to post one or two tomorrow evening. Of course with the mountains tomorrow, I'm guessing there might be some good views then as well.
Thanks for reading, and also thanks to those who have been so generous with your donations to the ADA though my Tour de Cure link.
